Fish Report- AUG 28

INSHORE

STRIPED BASS

New school of stripers moved onto SW Ledge, larger fish, 45pounder today.  Trolling wire and parachutes working best lots of small squid.

SCUP & SEABASS

Hooter Buoy and rocky bottom areas along the south shore producing good number of scup and seabass.

FLUKE

Fluke rather challenging last couple of days, dirty water around Block making it difficult, North Rip best place to start.

OFFSHORE

BLUEFIN TUNA

First giant landed today in Mud Hole by the "Midnight Rambler," 883lbs caught on a floater.  Not many signs of fish, but this one was caught.  Other smaller bluefin caught between Fairway Buoy and Cox's.

SHARKS

Sharking remains consistant at Gully and Suffix.

CANYON

Shipping Lanes had wahoo and mahi, no yellowfin.

Hyrdro/Welkers were canyons of choice this weekend, waiting for boats to report.
